Really, Mavrikk Blades…Yeah Really!

As many of you know,  At the start of the year I announced my affiliation with Miniature Aircraft and HeliWholsaler USA.  Due to the changes over the past few months, I have decided to resign from Torsion Blades and fly for Mavrikk. Over the past couple of days I have been testing the Mavrikk G5 Widecord 600 FBL Blades, and I can truly say in my opinion they are just as good or better than many of the well known brands out there. Both available in FBL or FB you can take advantage of these blades to gain the best performance out of your machine.

For the past couple of days of testing, I have found these blades are a perfect blend of reaction and precision. They track perfectly and they have plenty of POP for those of you who like to stab the collective ;)

For autos, well.. those of you who have seen me test these blades will back me up on this.. I’m totally amazed at the auto performance these blades offer. The hang time is stupidly insane. Need I say more?

I will be also be demonstrating these blades at the RCHeliAddict 3-Day Event this weekend, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

These blades are available at any good local hobby shop, both  Midland Helicopters and Fast-Lad stock these blades, Give them a try!

It’s been a while!

It’s been a while since I last posted on my blog!

Well, I’ve been lacking in flying, But that is mainly due to the weather. Well, The flying season is just around the corner and the weather is getting better! Let’s see what the Flying Season of 2011 Brings! I have also been working on a project with a few people, But due to unforseen reasons It has been put on hold for a while. I also have an annoucement to make in the next few day’s.

The Fury 55 is still rocking – As always, Vbar 5.1 is sure an improvement and the Paddle Simulation add’s that crack/smack feel. Im still however tuning it to my liking, Aswell with the overall feeling to my vbar setup.

So, I guess this wraps up a little update, I look forward to the flying season, As I will be surely updating this blog regulary.

Safe Flying

Long Time No Post.

Yes, It’s been more then a while since i’ve posted, I really need to get a grip and get posting again!

RCHA Event was a success and we had a good turn out! Everybody had a great time and it was brilliant to meet new faces. Everybody was in awe when the linc’s helicopter landed!

Also not forgetting the actual World Record Attempt for the most helicopters hovering at one time. That was a overwhelming site to see all these helicopters and all the smoke everywhere – It was awesome! and there was no crashes! Video below:

All in all a great event! – However, It was one of the worst weekends for me in flying terms. I had recently gone flybarless with a BeastX on my T-rex 600. It was not performing correctly at all. I had forgotten It doen’st like to perform piroflips so here’s me flying on the deck and I attempted a piro flip… and here’s the outcome:

Yeah.. Not a good one!

But hey, These things happen and its apart of the fun and hobby!

RCHA Tommrow!

Well, I was going to work on this blog somewhat during next week, But I might aswell add a bit of content while I go along.

So, Tommrow, for me anyway, is the start of the RCHA Event, I have been organising this with Stuart and Aide for the past few months and the time has now come to it! I have been really looking forward to this event this year, and I’m sure it will be a blast!

Also, One of the main attractions of this event is that we are hosting the Guiness World Record for the most helicopters airboune simultaneously, Aswell as the Licolnshire Air Ambulance landing, So you guys and girls can check out a full sized helicopter :)

Just some of the things to be had at the event!

I will be blogging as the event unfolds over the course of the weekend!

Safe Flying!
